Once qualified from The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Ahmad
took the opportunity to continue developing his surgical skills and experience
by working at the Dental Hospital in Manchester, concentrating on oral surgery,
dental casualty, restorative dentistry and paediatric dentistry. Subsequently he
moved into the more specialist field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During
this time he also provided emergency and long term care of patients with head
and neck trauma. After a year at the Eastman Dental Institute he graduated with
the M.Sc in Dental Implantology, followed three years later with the M.CLIN.DENT
in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics with honours. During his stay at the
Eastman, he also received training in both fixed and removable prosthodontic
aspects of dental laboratory technology.
With his well-developed skills in oral surgery, Ahmad has ensured that he has
become a leading name in the placement of dental implants, working with both
patients and professionals in this unique area of restorative dentistry. Ahmad
is one of the few dentists worldwide with formal training in the interrelated
areas of implant surgery, implant prosthodontics, implant laboratory technology;
he holds recognised qualifications in the fields of dental implantology and
fixed & removable Prosthodontics. He is registered Specialist in Prosthodontics
with the General Dental Council. Ahmad lectures regularly on implant and
restorative cases to dentists across the UK and Europe.
Ahmad’s practice is limited to dental implantology; a dental speciality
concerned with artificial replacements for missing parts of the mouth and jaw,
providing surgical and dental implant expertise to patients in both London and
the South East; Manchester and the North. He is committed to quality care and
has a well-earned reputation for putting his patients first with a sympathetic,
assured and professional manner.
Ahmad runs a private referral implant surgery and prosthodontic practice at the
Lister House in Wimpole Street, London and accepts referrals for both the
surgical and prosthetic aspect of implantology. He also runs many other implant
courses for GDPs and dental specialists from Lister House Centre for
Postgraduate Dental Implant Education.
